BEST FOODS FOR WEIGHT LOSS –

People these days care about how fit and slim you look but it’s better if you stay slim and fit for yourself rather than caring for what society thinks.

Here are some foods that will effectively help you lose weight.

 

HONEY– 

Consuming honey before going to bed will help you to burn more fat. It forces the liver to produce more glucose this glucose keeps the brain sugar high and this leads to the production of fat-burning hormones.

You can have milk and honey together.

 

CHIA SEEDS –

Lemon juice in a glass of water with salt and chia seeds will help you in fat metabolisation. 

 

JEERA WATER – 

Soak some jeera seeds in the night and eat them in the morning. You can add a pinch of jeera powder to a glass of water and drink it. Jeera will increase your metabolism. It reduces your hunger.

 

CONSUMPTION OF IRON ZINC SELENIUM-

This will result in increased activity of your thyroid gland thus increasing the production of thyroid hormones. This will increase the metabolic rate and will help in weight loss. 

Almonds, cashews, and other nuts can be consumed.

 

FOODS THAT ARE RICH IN VITAMIN C –

Vitamin C dilutes the fats making them less potent, thus helping their elimination from the body faster.

You can have lemon, lime, orange, grapes, etc.

 

Chillies, bell peppers, broccoli, cabbages, soya beans are foods that are low in calories. These will make you full sooner.

Pectins in apples restrict the absorption of fats. 

It also increases the metabolic rate.

 

WHOLE GRAINS –

Whole grains are generally rich in fibre and more energy is required to break down the food. 

It fills your stomach quickly and is low in calories.

For example oatmeal, brown rice, banana, beans, figs. It is recommended to have 25 to 30 g of fibre per day. 

 

LEAN MEATS – 

Meat that has less amount of fats and more protein will help in weight loss. Some calories are required to digest proteins.

 

GREEN TEA –

Studies have shown that drinking green tea will increase your metabolism and will help in melting fats. 

 

COMPLEX CARBOHYDRATE – 

This will make sure that your insulin levels are low. This helps with losing weight. Drinking milk is recommended.

 

GARLIC – 

It has a tendency of increasing Agni which aids in digestion and thus helps in losing weight. Garlic contains allicin which will reduce your cholesterol levels that is one kind of fat.
