INTRODUCTION TO ASHWAGANDHA – 

The scientific name of Ashwagandha is Withania Somnifera. In English, we call it winter cherry. In Hindi, it is also called Asgandha. As the name suggests, ashwa means horse and gandha mean odour, the roots of the plant Ashwagandha smell like a horse. Ashwagandha is used to provide strength to the body.
