INTRODUCTION –
The scientific name of Brahmi is Bacopa Monnieri. Brahmi is one of the most important drugs in the field of Ayurveda. Department of Physiology and Graduate School Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, Khon Kaen, Thailand has done the research work on Brahmi, – Effects of 12-Week Bacopa monnieri Consumption on Attention, Cognitive Processing, Working Memory, and Functions of Both Cholinergic and Monoaminergic Systems. The study concluded that Brahmi is effective in many aspects like confusion, lack of mental composure, dizziness, nervousness, Double vision due to weakness of nerves, phobia, manic depressive psychosis, sleep disturbances, and insomnia.
