It’s that time of the year! The exam time! The students and parents are working hard to prepare well for it. We bring you a few quick tips to beat the stress and make the most of these last hours.
1. Eat healthily
Eating the right food with regular intake boosts your concentration power, also helps to have a healthy mind and a balanced body. Avoid junk food as it slows you down. Eat plenty of fruits, leafy greens, sprouted grains to help in releasing tension and focus better. Almonds, nuts, seeds, cottage cheese, popcorn (not buttered) could be the stock up snacks at this time.
2. Water
Make sure to drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration. It can make you feel drowsy and sleepy. Make sure to have juicy fluids like plain water, coconut water, fruit juices. Avoid caffeine, canned drinks and beverages.
3. Study schedule
Time management plays an important role in preparing for exams and beyond. Planning a schedule and implementing leads to the more effective utilization of the time in hand.
4. Exercise & Meditate
Want to increase your memory retention? Breath! Do a few breathing exercises. It not only increases your concentration but also fights your nervousness before your exam. Go for a short walk or job, do some yoga, these are excellent ideas to maintain your mental health and reduce fatigue.
5. Get enough sleep
8 hours of sleep is very essential for the brain to accumulate what you have studied during the day. Remember your brain isn’t a machine hence it needs rest to ensure its better functioning. Relax!
