Hair-Fall Treatment With Homoeopathy

cure for sure

1 in every 2 females suffers or has suffered from hair fall/ hair thinning in their life.

40% of men have noticeable hair loss by age 35, 65% by age 60, and 80% by age 80

The issue is so common; we forget the severity of it.  But, people who have hair loss, they would know how it affects them in so many aspects. I would like to talk about common causes of hair fall followed by implications of it from psychological point of view which are not talked about so often.

Normal hair loss is considered to be 100 hairs per day, based on the average scalp containing 100,000 hair follicles.

Common causes of hair loss are:

Male and female pattern baldness: Male pattern hair loss is believed to be due to a combination of genetics and the male hormone testosterone.

The cause in female pattern hair loss is still not known

Local infections: Some bacterial and fungal infections of scalp and hair follicles can cause hair loss like folliculitis, Tinea capitis etc.

Alopecia areata: Alopecia areata is an autoimmune disorder also known as “spot baldness” that can result in hair loss ranging from just one location to every hair on the entire body. It can also spread to the entire scalp (alopecia totalis) or to the entire body (alopecia universalis).

Trauma: Traction alopecia is most commonly found in people with ponytails or cornrows who pull on their hair with excessive force. Trauma such as child birth, pregnancy, stress can cause hair loss

Drugs: Many drugs can cause hair loss including chemotherapy.

Thyroid disorders: Patients of hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism complaint of hair loss commonly.

Pregnancy: Post pregnancy hair loss is quite common because of hormonal imbalance.

Unhealthy scalp environment: Not washing hair and scalp properly, Air and water pollutants, environmental toxins, conventional styling products and excessive amounts of sebum have the potential to build up on the scalp

Nutrition: Lack of proper nutrition is one of the most common causes of hair loss.

Stress: Mental wellbeing plays a vital role in maintaining quality and quantity of hair. Hair loss due to stress is very common which is caused by Telogen effluvium in which a large number of hairs enter the resting phase at the same time, causing shedding and subsequent thinning.

Hair is an integral part of self-image for both males and females. Hair loss and thinning can make people look older and is very closely related to our standards of beauty and attractiveness. That is why hair loss becomes such an important issue for most. Hair loss changes their self image for them and subsequently confidence, interactions, communication and so on for many people. It is a complex psychological issue and not only hair loss but also this psychological complex needs to be addressed. Many people don’t regain their former self image even if they have been treated for hair loss.

There are many causes of hair loss which can be successfully treated with Homoeopathy without any surgical interventions. Hair loss due to Alopecia areata which is an autoimmune disease can be treated so beautifully with Homoeopathy that result can astound you. Homoeopathy gives wonderful results in other causes like stress, local infections, thyroid disorders, faulty nutrition, post-pregnancy hair loss too. As per my experience, pattern baldness is difficult to treat but the pace can be slowed down with Homoeopathy.

The beauty of Homoeopathy is- it not only treats hair loss but treats you as a whole so that all psychological issues along with it are taken care too.

Have healthy hair and healthy self!
